Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer Review

Hi guys!

So today's post is a review on the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer! This is a relatively new product on the market which has been raved about quite a far bit. So I'm super excited to share my thoughts on the concealer today!

Packaging: The packaging is very sleek in its shimmery brown/bronze packaging. Inside there is a mirror in the lid, which makes it excellent for travelling!

Product: This concealer is in the shade 2 so is the second lightest shade available. At first I thought these colours would be a tad too dark for me but I had to realise these shades are too correct your skin so they won't really match you skin tone perfectly.

The yellow shade is used to correct redness: blemishes, rosacea, and redness around nose and chin.

The orange/salmon shade is used to correct blueness: under the eyes.

The product itself is quite thick, dry and waxy but has excellent pigmentation. Once i rubbed my finger in the product itself and picked up some product it applied quite smooth and creamy to the skin. I've seen some youtubers pick up foundation in thier brush first then pick up the concealer as it kind of loosens the product and works just as well! It did an excellent job on covering up my redness and undereye circles.

This photo shows the yellow concealer in action. I have no makeup on in the before photo. I then used my finger to apply the yellow shade over my red blemishes, patting the product in shown in the second photo. In the last photo i applied the LA Girl Pro Conceal Concealer over the top and set it with a powder. This process definitely covers up more then just a concealer and took the redness out of my skin!

In this photo I tested out the salmon shade! First photo shows my eye with no makeup on!!

I then applied the salmon shade underneath my eyes, patting the product on any blue areas.

I then applied my LA girl concealer over the top to conceal and toped it of with my setting powder. This process lasted so long with ZERO creasing!

Heres a little photo of both my eyes! On the left is no makeup and on the right is the concealer! As you can see it covers up all the blueness and really evens out my skin tone!

Price: It retails for $49 AU and contains 5.92g of product. Laura Mercier products can be found at David Jones.
