So over the last month I have been trying out the Laura Mercier Foundation Primers. I have both the Radience and Mineral Primer* so thought I would review both of them today!
Firstly, here is the Radience Foundation Primer. The primer has a beautiful golden pearl tint to it which really makes your face look healthy and glowy! It's quite a lightweight primer that feels really hydrating on the skin, yet still feels thin enough to not make oily skin gals like myself feel greasy!
I do feel my foundation has lasted great on top of the primer, lasting an average of about 5 hours on me before I need a bit of powder. I have really been enjoying wearing this primer as the weather is becoming colder to give some glow back to my skin.
The Mineral Foundation Primer is a white, very hydrating primer. It is a cream to powder finish and drys very soft to the touch which is what it claims to do. I have especially been loving this primer as it makes my skin really smooth and even, perfecting it before my foundation. Again I would say my foundation would last the average on me roughly 5 hours but I definitely noticed I didn't need that much powder to fix the problem.
Overall I am really impressed with both of these primers. They both make my skin feel really soft and smooth and greatly prep and hold my foundation well. The Radience primer adds such a beautiful glow to the skin along with the Mineral primer creating a beautiful soft matte canvas.
If your oily, dry, combination or anything in between I think either of these primers would work great for you! I've acutally been using the Radienxe primer on my cheeks and the mineral primer through my t-zone so I get the perfect base for me!
Hope you guys found todays post helpful!
